„In-Between Spaces“ (STREET)

In-Between Spaces” is a photograph taken at Berlin’s Alexanderplatz: a man from Latvia sleeping on a bench in the morning, surrounded by bags and litter. Between visibility and invisibility, it reveals how closely exclusion and urban life coexist.

The photograph calls for greater compassion toward people experiencing homelessness and urges us to treat them with respect, dignity and humanity.
